In South Africa, there are 56 different kinds of bats, and some of them are in danger of disappearing. One bat box can host up to 50 brown bats, who in turn will eat thousands of bugs each night! Bats play a role in plant pollination too. Fruit trees, night flowering plants, and a variety of other plants can all benefit from having more of these friendly pollinators around.

Description

Kids will build their own bat box using the wood, glue, and materials provided in the kit, creating a safe home for up to 50 bats. These amazing animals help protect our environment by eating thousands of insects each night and supporting plant pollination across South Africa.
